About Heliopolis:
Heliopolis was originally built by the Belgian billionaire Baron Amban, and it now considered one of Cairo’s sophisticated and luxurious neighborhoods. It is close to Cairo Airport, and has an abundance of schools, hospitals, hotels, churches and mosques. Since it was established, Heliopolis has been known for its unique planning and its preserved architecture elegance. However, lately, the neighborhood has been becoming overcrowded and parking is very hard to find. Heliopolis offers mostly upscale and luxury housing units, and there are some areas that offer middle and upper-middle units, and areas around Gesr El Sues tend to offer more economic properties. Some of Heliopolis key landmarks are Baron Palace, Merryland Garden, Presidential Palace, Merghany street, Thawra street, Orouba street, Nabil Waqad street, Safeir square, Triumph square, and Hejaz square. Heliopolis can be reached using public transportation or Metro from any part of Cairo, and it is surrounded by key streets like Salah Salem, Gesr El Sues and Nasr road .
